Things I do on Sunday Mornings...

On Friday afternoon, I go to coffee shops with friends or just kick around in the neighbourhood. Then on Saturday, I do some school work and go out for dinner with the family or friends. Sometimes both. But when it comes to Sundays, I have my very special tradition that I hate missing out on.

Every Sunday morning, I wake up and have breakfast. I bring my tea or coffee back up to my room and open the windows. Then I curl up on my chair and watch an episode of Desperate Housewives. If I am feeling more up to it, I watch Nikita. I highly recomand those two shows.

Desperate Housewives is about 6 (or 5 or sometimes even 7 depending on the season) who go through pretty much what all girls and women will go through before we die. Marriage, divorces, sending our youngest kid to Grade 1, watching kids grow into rebelious teenagers, deaths, finance issues and last but not least, gossips and scandals. Each housewives have their own tastes and personalities. Luckily, they are all amazing friends, well most of the time. Each of the housewives' husbands represents almost every type of men you can find on this earth. They are all great, but have their own awful flaws. I love watching it in the morning, you can't get the same taste while watching it during the evening!

Nikita is probably one of those shows that doesn't suit morning times. It's an assasin TV show with lot's of drama, action and even "less" peppy romance. It's about a top assasin who works for a secret agency called the Divison who escapse it after she learns that they are out of control and are more of personal mercenaries. They also killed her finace who is a "civilian" and apparently that illegal for the assasins. I personally think Maggie Q (Nikita) is amazing and she totally suits the role. Honestly, take my word and watch these two shows if you are not hooked already. I don't know exactly what channels and times they come on but when I find out, I'll post them up later!
Anyways, other than that nothing is new. I should probably go finish French and Math homework!

The Thing That I Hate Most...

The thing that I hate the most is when people start something enthusiastically then just stop doing it or lose interest real soon. Ironically, I do that. I'm such a hypocrite.

I started this blog with alot of enthusiasm and eagerness but I lost interested after a few posts. It may be because I never found the time. Or it could be because my life isn't as exciting as I thought and I had nothing to write about. It could have been that I only blab and complain about things that makes me not want to post things anymore. Sadly, it may be because this blog is not well known and I don't have the audience to feed my motivation.

Either way, I'm back because this year, I am going to defeat many of my flaws. No, I cannot be perfect but when I do find a flaw in myself, I would like to acknowledge it.

So life has been rather good actually. You may be surprised to hear how I remained happy throughout these though months. School work as increased, not just in quantity but also in quality. Teachers now don't take bullshit on essays anymore. People struggle trying to maintain B average when most of us used to get A average. Not to mention that I am now taking AP courses and even studying for the SAT incase I felt like going to an American college. My piano is getting harder every year, probably because I don't find time to practice it!
But who cares about my troubles with academics, everyone wants to hear the juicy high school drama, which adults are happy they got over and teenagers want to hear more, just so they feel better about their dramatic relationships with others.

Honestly, I never liked getting involved but I always end up being involved anyway so I gave up this year trying to avoid it. I might as well face it like a solider. Rumors are pretty gross but the sad thing is, if you are going to make up a rumor, make it believable and ambiguous so that it can't be traced back to you. Unfortunately, people at my school fails at that so many rumors are made to back fire at the person who spread it. I'm not going to go into details on exactly what rumors are going around this year because it's not important...haha...

Tomorrow I'm going to write a post about the new TV shows I've been watching and put up a review of it. I might post a YouTube video of their first episodes if you want to watch it and see if you want to be addicted to them like me!
On that note (which you probably guessed if you are even reading down till now...), I am going to get back to my science project and be more productive!

Quick Easy & Affective

Wow, again - it has been a very long time since I posted a blog! Clearly I cannot find time to blog everyday about something (or possibly not finding anything good to blog about everyday) when I tweet perfectly well!
Other than the fact that my last blog was a failure due to the fact that I failed to position the pictures properly. For some odd reason what ever I tried did not seen affect the positions at all. Then I just gave up and let it be.
I am missing Europe very much right now. There is no place as acient and fashionable as Europe and people are so much more dynamic than the people in North America. I miss the smell from small cafes all over streets and unlimited shopping. The buildings are much better to look at there than here. Even people are much more interesting to talk to. They are far more interactive than anyone else in the world! I deffinately had a marathon of all the pictures I took there and almost cried because I missed it so much. I'm still conviencing my parents to go back there again before I graduate. Why? Because first, I won't be able to afford it when I'm in college because I have to pay for everything then. Second, being there with my family probably made that trip amazing and third, I will be lost. My parents guided me throughout the whole trip so how am I going to handle being alone there?

Anyways, the point of this blog was to celebrate the fact that I have finally finished writing my official resume that I will be using for the next, 3 years or so!
Writing resumes were much harder and takes up alot more time than I thought. What I learned though, was that you want to keep it as organized as possible. Do not center anything and make sure you have proper and clear headers. Some areas its better to keep it simple but other areas such as your experience sections should be as detailed as possible. I think if I knew this before I wrote my resume, it would have taken me at least an hour not the whole day! (Because I had to re-start the whole thing 3x!)

I have also been reading some amazing fashion blogs and http://guestofaguest.com which is so entertaining when you are absolutly bored. Its like real life gossip girl but it involves so much more people and different parties that you can't really keep up with the same one group. Anyways, that is how I spend my boring rainy days.

Modelicious

Wow, it's been a long time since I blogged! I just posted a new tumblr post so go check that out after you read this! http://xbliss.tumblr.com

So spring break was pretty awesome, I went to London and Paris which was probably the best trip ever and now I am in Hawaii enjoying the beautiful sunshine. While at my amazing vacation spots, I became rather interested in models. I realized that modeling is a type of art to portray the clothes with your story and style behind it. It is a way to represent oneself. So I did some research and I came across some amazing models and I admit, I picked out my favourites. Hey, everyone has favourites, its just in the matter of how reasonable you are with your favourites.

Chanel Iman

After looking at some of her photoshoots, I was totally taken away by her positive and enthusiastic attitude! She is deffinately one of my top favourite models!

Chantal Jones

You all probably recognize her from America's Next Top Model Cycle 9 runner -up. Not only is she naturally beautiful but displays the attires very well (in my opinion).

Caroline Trentini

She is extremely exotic looking with the most beautiful eyes! I love looking at all her magazine scans and never doubted her modeling skills in any of them.

Now that my little session of top 3 favourite models is done, what else should I blog about? I guess it is logical to blog about my trip in London and Paris but there truly is nothing that I can say in one blog without boring anyone and myself! I can rant about how my teachers gave me Spring Break homework but that will probably bore you too. Now that I think about it, I should probably get to that. Why am I up so early anyway?? Jet lag can confuse the hell out of me sometimes. Well this is all for now.

Lame Blogger

Ugh, so exactly how long has it been since I last blogged? A while.
I am a terrible blogger, I guess I am not getting enough motivations to write anything since no one ever reads it...but the whole point of this was the expect no one to read it so why am I all put down for the fact that no one reads it? Well probably because blogs are meant to be read but oh well.
I guess another reason is because I am always busy, I still have two more weeks of school then I am off for spring break! Unfortunatly the weather sucks here so we are going to have dark, cold and wet spring breal.

At the moment, I am suppose to be working on two essays and one lab question sheet for science but my brain needs a rest so I decided to quickly upload something.
I also found a new obsession...Sorority Life on Tagged! It isn't even interactive and I kinda became addicted to it. Can't stop playing...no wonder I am always off track during study time! I need to find a more productive obsession. Even some type of food might do. I love food, next time when I have more time I should blog about food or something. Next would be a blog about photography. Anyways I should be off now so I will be around in a few weeks posting daily...well hopefully.

New Music Obsession

Is it just me or is this the year where the film producers decide to make the best movies and music artists decide to sing the best duets??
Today after school, even though I should be doing homework, I spent a long time on youtube watching the newest trailers and music videos. For me, my top must watch list of movies are:
  • Avatar
  • Valentine's Day
  • Dear John
  • Remember Me
  • Letters to Juliette

I've also been listening to alot of the new musics and such but I came across a duet of Timbaland and Katy Perry! Funny little mix that is but I love it! I always liked Timbaland's music because he has the most addicting beats and Katy Perry is just a beautiful character! I became addicted to If We Ever Meet Again as much as I became addicted to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. Not a good addiction to have but this duet is surprisingly good!

Great, no?
Well anyways, I should be doing some homework right now...but if you want my every little bit of obsession as soon as it happens, follow me on twitter or check out my myspace!! :)
Haha that is if anyone is even reading this!

Skip A Day

Darn, this morning when I woke up I realized that I didn't keep to my words and missed out a blogging yesterday! Well, as if anyone is reading this and if anyone even cares. Anyways, I meant to write one this morning but my life is complicated but boring...two adjectives that should never go together but then again, life isn't fair so I guess I'll just put up with it. I just never got around to writing one until now.

To be honest, the second reason was because I was hoping something interesting will happen during the day for me to blog about but the day was same as usual. Maybe I could just tell you every detail of it and that make amuse you since I'm always living my life and it gets boring after a while but you never have. A great new experience. No. I will not do that.

The only interesting thing that happened today is that my mom got a speeding ticket while giving me a lecture about college. Really funny. The cop took $100 off because my mom was being a caring mom concerned about her daughter's college.

Okay, maybe I somewhat lied...that wasn't the only interesting thing. My best friend and I went out shopping and I admit, it felt so good to shop again. I caught up with all the new sales and everything! I made about 7 membership cards at different stores. They actually come in handy from time to time! We bought 2 pairs of shoes and I got myself 3 different new outfits but now I think I'm broke.Talking about money, I think I should start a new money system. I am going to get a shoe box and divide it with envelopes and label them as: Shopping Money, Food Money, Gift Money, Future Savings. That way I can keep track of how much money I use and I will never be broke again! Now where do I find a shoe box....
